2 cups sifted powdered sugar

1 cup minus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
 
1 cup self-rising flour:
 
1 cup all-purpose flour + 1 teaspoon baking powder + 1/2 teaspoon salt + 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
 
1 square (1 ounce) unsweetened chocolate:
 
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder + 1 tablespoon shortening or cooking oil,
or
1-ounce envelope premelted unsweetened chocolate product
 
6 squares (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate:
 
6 ounces semisweet chocolate pieces
or
6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder +1/4 cup sugar + 1/4 cup shortening
 
4 squares (4 ounces) German sweet cooking chocolate:
 
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder +1/3 cup sugar + 3 tablespoons shortening
 
1.06 oz cake
compressed yeast:

 
1/4-ounce envelope or
2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
 
1 cup honey:
 
1-1/4 cups sugar + 1/4 cup liquid
 
1 cup corn syrup:
 
1 cup sugar + 1/4 cup liquid
 
1 cup dark corn syrup:
 
3/4 cup light corn syrup + 1/4 cup molasses,
or 1 cup light corn syrup
 
1 cup molasses:
 
1 cup honey
 
1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs:
 
3/4 cup soft bread crumbs, or 1/4 cup cracker crumbs or 1/4 cup cornflake crumbs or 2/3 cup rolled oats
 
1 slice crisp-cooked
