This is one of the better anthologies in this series. Probably because of the huge volume of entries the contest receives, the judges can't help but find above average writing. A heartening fact for me: these stories didn't really seem to be out of my league. I could probably produce stories like these if I were to apply myself.

There seemed to be a couple of common themes: nanotechnology, time travel, and cyborgs.
