Even the best of things must come to an end. This fourth installment in the Captain Underpants series provides little more than recycled jokes from the previous books centered around one original theme: funny names. To exact his revenge against all those who made fun of his name, Professor Poopypants creates a giant robot and forces everyone to change their name or be shrunk by the Shrinky-Pig 2000. George and Harold spend half the book as Fluffy and Cheeseball. But this one joke and the comic-book action don't carry the story as gracefully as in the previous three adventure books. Still silly, not as satisfactory.
