Digital Typography presents a collection of papers by and interviews with Donald E. Knuth. A historian of the TeX typesetting system might find this collection interesting, but most readers, even those avid about producing aesthetically pleasing type, will not find much of interest here. For example, Digital Typography reproduces Knuth's original hand written notes from his journal for the days when he first started developing TeX. An interesting historical volume that libraries should have in the stacks but the everyday typesetter need not purchase.
